Yep, helicopters still work after Besiege made the engine change to Unity 5. I built this a while ago. Get it from the Steam Workshop:

Yet another multipurpose, versatile, all-in-one vehicle to beat all current levels very easily without modifications (not hard) - The "Leveller" (I'm terrible with names) is a both an aircraft and a car.

In flight, it's both a bomber (drops remote grenades) and a sky crane - Stable and strong enough to lift even the very heavy boulders in the sandbox. As a car, it has drills, it's robust, it levels buildings and tears up NPCs.

Not a complete walkthrough 'cause that'd be even more boring. Instructions and controls are detailed on the Steam Workshop page.
