Halo is a popular si-fi fps thrives on co-op and multiplayer. With tons of creative gamemodes like forge and slayer, you'll spend hour on end with your friends by your side. Halo also has the co-op campaign feature, and not to mention pretty much every gamemode can be done with 2 or more players
For all you serious sam fans out there, Now.. be warned this game is pricy, currently it goes at 40$ and is the only serious sam game that is compatable with co-op. If you can get past the price , the game still contains its fast-paced and hecktic action. With Its variety of maps and weapons this game will satisfy any serious sam fan.
Resident Evil 5, This chaotic zombie game puts its self apart from the rest by integrating co-op to the campaign, You and a friend can shoot your way through this fun storymode, and believe me, a real person is way better than the annoying bot they stick you with.
Rockband, and/or Guitar Hero. These games have perfected the band simulation. With up to 4 instruments and players, you'll find your self rocking out for hours. This is a great party game and is loaded with tons of songs and replayability.
Gears of War series, cutting monsters in half with chainsaws has never been this fun. This game, much like halo, has a lot of co-op gamemodes, and has plenty of action and gore to satisfy any gamer. Addicting gamemodes like horde mode, and its riveting campaign keep you playing for hours
