BEST LOCAL CO-OP GAMES [HQ] - Part 1
When we say Local Co-op games we mean games, where you and a person sit next to each other on a couch and play offline Co-op/coop split screen, or in some cases Side scroll, or in some REALLY unique cases Take turns. Enjoy: Couch Mulitplayer as some call it
INFO:
First we begin with one of my favorites Portal 2, It's singleplayer blew us away, and usually games have pointless coop thrown in there, but Portal 2 doesn't disappoint. You and a friend play as 2 robots, and together you solve puzzles. It works really well and it's a great game to pass the time and test your brain
Next is a casual 2010 game, Shank. It's a side scroller with a fun fast paced gameplay, and an artistic visual style. You and a friend can team up against the hordes. Slashing your way through of enemies has never been funner.
Next is Sonic All star racing transformed. It's visually impressive, and it plays as good as it looks. This game has split screen, and you and a friend can speed through the levels, destroying enemies in your path, or even each other. If you're a fan of Sonic you will definitely appreciate this game. And Just a side note, there are plenty of other Local Co-op Racing games out there, but I thought this one was one of the funnest aside from Grid 2.
Next is Valve's Left 4 Dead, This gory zombie survival horror adventure is all about team work, and you can play with a friend, and some bots to beat the levels. Both L4D 1 and 2 support and encourage team work. Games tend to be funner with a friend, and zombie games are defenitly not an exception. You'll spend hours blowing infected heads off, and cutting through them with chainsaws and varies Melee weapons.
Next is the 2007 game "Peggle" , This game is extremely addicting for a casual game. The goal of each level is to get rid of all the orange pegs, simply using the ball you're given usually 9 or 10. The reason this is on the list is because it has a dual mode, where you compete with someone and see which one of you get the highest score. It's turn based, and trust me you burn days playing this game. It's just that addicting
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is next on our list. It's one of my favorite, if not the best rainbow six game. I've played countless number of hours completing campaign and playing terrorist hunt with my brother. Leveling up and unlocking weapons keeps you wanting to play more, and the game its self is really good. This is one of my favorites, Definitely recommend it!
Next is any of the Call of Duties. Offline, or Online you can play locally which is a featured you don't see in games too much. Call of Duty the series is fun, and playing Zombies or wager matches, depending on which call of duty game, is really fun. You'll spend hours ranking up, and playing along side your friend.
Next is Mortal Kombat, or any fighting game for that matter, but I think Mortal Kombat is the best. Unlike the other games I've mentions in this list, this one is not really Co-op based but it defenitly deserves to be on here. The graphics and the gameplay are both smooth and fun. The fatalities never get old, and the "Test your luck" mode is super creative and fun. If you haven't tried this game yet I suggest you go do that after you finish this video.
Next is Beat Hazard Ultra, a "play your music" game, its a visually stunning game similar to the classic asteroid, But with strobe lights and colorful gamma rays. Ultra is a DLC for the original Game Beat Hazard, this allows you to do CO-OP, the original game does Not have Co-op. It's very fun to play your music while blowing up massive ships, and black holes.
Finally, the game many consider the best Co-op game, BorderLands 2. The quest to find handsome Jack is not the same without a friend by your side. There are literally hundered of weapons to find in the wasteland, and hundreds of enemies to kill. You'll spend hours looting and killing your way to handsome Jack, It's a really fun experience I highly recommend to anyone.
