Deciding on the optimal settings for OBS recording can be problematic. After much trial and error and tinkering I have decided the best settings for a Ryzen 5 1400 and Avermedia Live Gamer HD C985 capture card. Whilst these settings are specific for this hardware combination they may be useful for others with a different setups. Fine tuned for YouTube recordings and live streaming platforms such as Twitch and Mixer.
