Working as a charity streaming community manager, I'm often asked what OBS Studio settings I recommend. I show what I feel are the best OBS streaming and recording settings using an NVIDIA GPU (1060 or higher). I cover the simple get up and go settings as well as dive deeper into the advanced settings.

When it comes to bitrate, here is my breakdown. Be sure to run a speed test to find your upload speeds.

- 3-4 Mbps ~2,500 bitrate
- 4-5 Mbps ~3,500 bitrate
- 5-6 Mbps ~4,500 bitrate
- 8+ Mbps ~6,000 bitrate
