The rumors ARE true, this was an incredible remake. With the small things they changed, they either made it better, and/or honored the change (I won’t say how but it was a really cool touch for us veterans who have played the original).
I got the Leave ending just like in 2021 when I played the original game with my friend Jim (m0rdack). Some throwbacks of SH2OG and other relevant games are spread throughout the video. The stakes were higher with the certain things that could’ve given you other endings in this remake though, so I was actually wondering if I was going to get In Water this time. But shockingly I did not xD
SimplyKaleb helped me with most of the remake, so I didn’t miss anything and I’m so grateful! The first stream, he saw I was struggling figuring out where to go and only had very minimal healing items and ammo lmao
This remake was actually HARDER than the original for me personally. and I was on EASY MODE!! There's so many more enemies, and everything is obviously way scarier now that they're in modern graphics.
I watched the other endings too, love the two new endings, especially the reference to a particular item from Silent Hill 1 in one of them.
The change to the UFO ending too was great LMAOO
And Kaleb made sure I got to see all the other references to Silent Hill 1, 3 and 4 in the game! Ahhh it makes me very hopeful they'll remake the rest in the same style! If they remake 4 I will LEGIT POOP MY PANTS 😭
