10Let's play 7 Days to Die alpha 20 with RangerMod! RangerMod is made by yours truly and expands the vanilla implementation of spears and archery, as well as introduces a variety of other items and quests. No more is archery relegated to being useful only with stealth or in the early game, and no more will your friends laugh at you for using spears. Now, you can control the battlefield with bows, and slice and dice your enemies with spears. In this series, we're not going to use any firearms* (see note below) so it's all bows and melee weapons (and, I suppose, explosives). RangerMod is still in its early days, but eventually, it'll tell the story of Midnight's Reapers and their fight to return the wasteland into something humanity can occupy and thrive in.
This series is being played on mostly vanilla settings with a few changes: 12 zombies on horde night, 150% experience, drop everything on death, and air supply drops highlighted on the map. This is a random gen 8k world.

No firearms note: there's one specific firearm we're going to be allowed to use, but it's something that can only be found via a RangerMod quest. If we find it, it's ours to use. If not, no firearms for us!

7 Days to Die alpha 20 has way too much new stuff to list. Seriously. Go read the patch notes, but make sure you're comfortable.
To be sure, though, check out the pipe weapons. The new pipe pistol, pipe shotgun, pipe machine gun, pipe shotgun, and pipe baton are a hoot. The Fun Pimps have outdone themselves this time around!
