Beyond Nosferatu, a visual essay (2015): Variations on Two Themes by Leæther Strip (1994, 1997) VIDEO
Leæther Strip is a Danish musical project founded on January 13, 1988 by Claus Larsen. It is a one-man band.
The two themes are from 1) "Take The Fear Away" from the album Retropective (1997) and 2) "Blood Lust," the ninth track on Serenade for the Dead (1994), a series of compositions conceived as a soundtrack to a fictional film.
This video is an experiment in sound and action: a journey into the Gothic and the vampire realms of Dracula and Nosferatu.
