Beyond the Plotless Skies | After Midnight | Indie Playthrough
0Hello everybody and welcome back to another indie playthrough!
In today's episode, we are tackling a so-called 'horror' game named
After Midnight, which may or may not be related to the JJ Cale song
of the same name.
Our story begins on the night of December 17th, 2022; we get out of bed and read
about a horrific accident that occurred at a hotel, what significance does this have
to the plot? No idea, but feel free to leave a plot-hole counter in the comments
below! Our spouse/partner/thing has left us a note, saying that they would return
after midnight, fitting considering the name of the game.
Unfortunately, that is where the plot ends; after spending several minutes on
a fetch quest to repair the ship, the game has one final cinematic where we
see the ship fly off and then that's that...
This game had such a broken plot, I had to mention it TWICE in the goddamn
title of this video. I don't know where the dev wanted to go with this game but
I could not see any sort of plot and that is my biggest gripe with after midnight.
