The original Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge absolutely showed that in the right hands, the Commodore Amiga was more than powerful enough to hand a fluid, challenging and engrossing arcade racer. So it's no surprise that Gremlin & Magnetic Fields would bring out a sequel in due course!

This episode of Beyond The Scanlines dives into the Amiga release of Lotus Turbo Challenge II, alongside its conversion to the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis (released in the following year).

Amiga gameplay footage recorded from a PAL A500 (via RGB), with Mega Drive footage recorded from a PAL Mega Drive (Model 1, via RGB) - all fed into an XRGB Mini. Watch this at 1080p50 for the best quality!
