This is a blind Let's Play of Xenoblade Chronicles, a semi-open world action RPG released on the Wii in 2010. Xenoblade Chronicles tells the story of Shulk, a young scientist seeking revenge for the destruction of his home, uncovering the secrets of how the world around him works in the process. Xenoblade is part of the larger Xeno franchise, which began with Xenogears on the PS1 in 1998. Although the story isn't directly related, Xenoblade features several key themes in common with the earlier Xeno games, including themes of artificial intelligence, free will, and religion's place in society (especially with regards to morality).
Xenoblade Chronicles wasn't originally planned to be released in America, until Operation Rainfall, a fan campaign to release Xenoblade (as well as Pandora's Tower and The Last Story) was started. The game eventually came out in Summer of 2012, with a port to New 3DS in 2015. The main differences between the two ports are mostly related to lighting and graphical effects, with the Wii version having a slight edge.
As a blind Let's Play, this will be Katie's first time playing the game. You can observe her first-time reactions to different events in the story, as well as join her on her quest if this is your first time seeing the game too!
