I just got BF2 on PC, so I can keep in touch w/ non-console forum folks (w/ EA shutting the BF2 board down), and I thought I'd record some HvV matches, using no cards. Which means I have no perks and am no stronger than a Lv1. Level only determines how many cards you can unlock.



This is especially for the newer players who believe they have no chance, "because everyone has purple cards". It's not about the cards. They just give you an edge in some cases. The cards don't make high level players. Only experience does that. The small perks that cards give you aren't as much of an advantage as playing smart.


*"Smurfing" is the common term for when an experienced player restarts a multiplayer game as a Level 1, I dunno why. (Thanks Brett! LOL)
