It's okay...

But seriously, it is a mixed bag. Out of the similar PDWs (M5k, MP7, and P90) the M5k is probably the least effective on conquest/large maps. While you don't need to run it, the laser will give your position away (good thing I try to stay moving as often as I can), but that isn't all that bad. The damage it deals over range drops a whole lot and to make matters worse, it has the most ADS recoil out of the bunch. So for conquest, if you must go with a PDW, I'd say your best option is the AS VAL for sure, but steer clear of the M5k if you can (it is still fun as Hell to use though).
