Battlefield Bad company 2 Squad Deathmatch 2nd round using the m14 in my M1 vs M14 these are my opinions on these two rifles read description

M14 Pros
3 more bullets in a mag than the m1
can have attachments with the 4X scope it could be used like a sniper rifle

M14 cons
Smaller rear sight and large front sight make it more difficult to aim at long distance

Overall
I think my option is that i like the M1 slightly better due to the fact the larger rear sight and small front sight making long distance aiming better they both take the same amount of shots to kill someone 2-3 depending where the bullets hit. The rate of fire depends on how fast you can push R1/Right trigger which the m14 with it been 3 rounds more might be better for closer and faster firing i would think a good secondary just in case you are a bit trigger happy
