BG3 Honor Mode: How to rescue Smythin - and the permanent Loviatars Blessing (DUO NO REST - Ep. 18)
A BG3 (Baldurs Gate 3) Duo Honor Mode Challenge Run. No rest-No Exploits.
In this episode we rescue all the minor prisoners in the Shattered Sanctum. Including poor Smythin. Gotta move fast to save him in time... We also acquire a nice permanent buff for Lae'zel that we may decide to make good use of down the line. Ohh... and save a couple of other poor souls, like Liam and Volo. Being a Drow still has its benefits

Rules for the let's play are as follows:
1: Honor Mode (Mostly for the changed rule set)
2: Duo Run
Not allowed: Bringing more than 2 party members to any given fight.
Allowed: Other companions helping from the camp to the best of their abilities.
3: No Long Resting
Not allowed: Intentionally resting to regain spellslots or abilities.
Allowed: Rest Chambers. Forced Rests. Resting to progress quests - But all resources must be reset as if no rest! (redo spells, use up spellslots, waste abilities, etc)
4: Pick the hard version of every fight.
Not allowed: Using dialogue to make a combat easier or skip it entirely. Avoiding fights by stealth or the like.
Allowed: Having "friends" you don't intent to kill. Doing fights "out of order"
5: No cheese – depending on definitions
Not Allowed: Lugging around barrels, stealth bugging enemies or otherwise intentionally bugging the game, and things of the caliber.
Allowed: Using "locally sourced" barrels for advantage (as long as they belong at that location, blowing them up is just dandy). Breaking potions for AoE effects, dipping in candles, and other clever use of game mechanics.
Extra rules about economy:
6: No Stealing from Vendors
Unless I am about to kill them. I can still steal from other people/items on the ground.
7: No Scroll spamming.
I'm not allowed to just stock up on scrolls and spam them to win a fight. I am still allowed to buy a few scrolls here and there and use what I find as I please.
Other goals:
Always attempt to take as little damage as possible in fights.
