In Baldur's Gate 3 a build with 11 levels of Fighter gets 3 attacks with each Action. With extra actions from Potion of Speed, Elixir of Bloodlust and Action Surge you can attack up to 12 times in one turn. Each Smokepowder Arrow does 8d6 damage for a total of 96-576 area damage, if you chose to waste 12 of them. Situationally Arrow of Many Targets can be better.
