Description: NerdSloth Gaming features to two cofounders of the NerdSloth podcast community, Joseph Lambert and Chris Koehne. They have always been gamers, and especially have a deep love of indie games and retro games, so it was a natural fit that eventually the two podcast cohosts would finally take their gaming shenanigans to the letsplay stage on YouTube.

Game Description: Hades is a roguelike game in which the player takes the role of Zagreus, the prince of the Underworld, who is trying to escape the realm to get away from his dispassionate father, Hades, and reach Mount Olympus. His quest is supported by the other Olympians, who grant him gifts to help fight the beings that protect the exit from the Underworld. He is also helped on his quest by notorious residents of the Underworld, such as Sisyphus, Eurydice, or Patroclus. The game features four "biomes", or locales of the underworld: Tartarus, Asphodel, Elysium, and the Temple of Styx. Fighting your way through swarms of enemies, accepting challenges, and appeasing the Greek Gods before facing off against major boss battles will leave you in the fight of your life, which you will often lose. Each time the player dies, they end up back in the House of Hades where they start their ascension over, but this time with whatever currencies they've earned from their previous run to upgrade their abilities for their next attempt at escape. However the game is never the same each run and many encounters are randomized.
