BIG DAMAGE, but I miss shields - Dead Cells: Update 1.8 - Scythe Claw Run (5 BC)

The Scythe Claws are quite possibly the most unique weapon in the game, due to the fact that they take up 2 weapon slots and deal insane amounts of damage. That insane damage does come at a price, however. In order to maximize DPS, you have to alternate attacks between the claws (Left claw crits after you hit with the Right claw, and vice versa), which can be difficult because the Right claw is very slow. They're a very fun and satisfying pair of weapons, but require some practice to use properly. I do think they're very strong, but also very risky because the slow attacks leave you wide open with no shield to defend yourself. And, as with any slow weapon, there is the "threshold of commitment" where you won't be able to parry or roll out of the attack when it's nearing the end of its animation. All of these drawbacks provide balance for the weapon's incredible DPS.
