Special early-order "BIG PICTURE CLASSIC" upload from December 2019 - remastered and annotated for 2021 in the "classic" format - released in conjunction with this weekend's impending U.S. television debut on TOONAMI of the groundbreaking Anime hit "SSSS.GRIDMAN" in it's brand new English translation from Funimation. Mildly re-edited for proper 2021 context, the original episode presented here laid out the unusual backstory of the "GRIDMAN" franchise as a cult-classic live-action 1990s Tokusatsu series that also became a largely-forgotten U.S. "POWER RANGERS" clone as "SUPERHUMAN SAMURAI SYBER-SQUAD" - and how both versions eventually inspired the wildly-successful Anime reimagining.

The following episode of The Big Picture was produced in 2019 for The Escapist; and reflects the audio, video and overall production quality required of the site and asked of the producer at the time. It has bee upscaled and re-rendered to a more modern standard to the best of the producers' capability as of 2020.
