Bikdip's Adventure 2 Done Turned Three Ye'sold Today
In which I talk about videos that are going to be uploaded in like 5 minutes. Basically I just wanted to provide a bit of background info, and officially announce that the speedrun is being made public instead of just putting it in an annotation or description that people might miss.
So yeah, the first 10 parts of the speedrun are all hosted on another channel - http://www.youtube.com/BA2Speedrun
The final part is on this channel. All of this stuff will be put into a playlist as well.

For the zero of you interested in doing a speedrun, here's all the facts you need to know. If you don't care, you can stop reading.
Speedruns can either be any% (collect only what will help you) or 100% (collect everything as defined below). There are also three types of speedruns:
Segmented speedruns are like the one I did. You can save & quit whenever you want, meaning you get as many do-overs as you need until it's fast enough. Unlike my run, I am also requiring that you show your in-game timer before and after each segment. (Press A on the file select screen). These have the least room for error, since you have the chance to redo mistakes later into the run.
Single-segment speedruns go from the beginning to the end without saving at all. You are allowed to use Continue warps though. After beating the first part of the quest, you do not have to proceed immediately to the second part. It must be completed without saving, like the first part, but it is basically a second segment.
The final type is basically a combination of the two, known as a Real Time Attack or "RTA". An RTA is a single-segment run that allows savewarping. Because of the possibility of editing together a segmented run and claiming it's an RTA, I require that any runs of this category have a running timer displayed on-screen along with the ZC window. The second quest part is treated the same way here as it is in single-segment, but you are allowed to savewarp in that one as well.
For all runs, the timer ends when you reach the final screen of the game. ("See you next time!" for part 1, and "Thank-a you so much a-for to playing my game" for part 2".) You can save & quit as soon as the message string finishes, and then display your time from the file select screen. It is assumed that the "enhanced" part 2 is used in speedruns, as the plain one offers no advantages.
100% requirements:
All "standard" items must be collected, which basically means everything that isn't involved in either the Cheat Code quest or the long secret quest stemming from the Level 7 exit. (as explained in an upcoming video) Your inventory at the end of the game (first part) is as follows:
* 16 hearts, consisting of 8 containers and 24 pieces
* Magical Sword (the one from Level 7. Master Sword from final secret is unnecessary)
* Fire Boomerang (wooden boomerang may be skipped)
* max capacity of 12 bombs and 3 super bombs (does not have to be full. Additional expansion from Cheat Code quest is unnecessary)
* Bow & arrow (golden spoon from final secret is unnecessary)
* Red Candle (blue candle may be skipped)
* Ocarina
* Potion bottle (either color) or Letter
* Wand
* Hookshot
* Lens of Truth
* Hammer
* Raft
* Magic Book
* "Blue Ring" (you end the game as Bikdark. "Red Ring" from final secret is unnecessary)
* Ladder
* Mirror Shield (Magic Shield may be skipped)
* 500 Rupee Bag (999 Rupee bag from Cheat Code quest is unnecessary)
* Medallions of Strength (L2), Truth, Water-Walking, and Life
* 8 Triforce Pieces
* at least 6 keys (it is possible to have more by skipping doors in Level 5, but getting extras would then waste time in a speedrun)
For the second part, along with the Red Ring and Golden Spoon (which are mandatory), you must collect the Easter Egg item and collect both keys from all four of the "trials". (meaning you would have 2 extra after going through the series of 8 locked rooms). You do not have to enter the section of the level that leads to the speedrun download link. Continue bug exploits are allowed as long as all items are still collected.
