15There are 4 automaton upgrades that you can get in this biomutant guide
What you need to do is find 4 illusions on the map.
Interact with them and you will have a flashback of your past.
After you complete that you will return to the present and you will be given a choice on what upgrade to unlock.
Unlock the air glider - a fun way to get down from elevated location
Pew-pew pang – the automaton will use its turret to aid you in combat. There is also an ability that you can unlock that doubles its damage
Health Injector – give you a new option to heal from the radial wheel
Power-up – a consumable will be available in the radial wheel that will boost your damage
Here are some biomutant tips on where to find 4 illusions:
One location is north of the Subnautic Station, close to Toxanol Dump
Another location is North-East of the Subnautic Station, next to the Gutway Shopperia
Next is on a small island, South of the Hobydunk, you need your ski-jet mount to get there
Another location is West of the Hobydunk
You also get Toytinkerer Trophy for getting all automaton upgrades
