Biomutant Explained
2,648Biomutant is an upcoming third-person action RPG that’s combining elements from your favorite games. The combat evokes Devil May Cry, the exploration is open-world like Breath of the Wild, and there’s a ton of crafting and customization as well.
It’s pretty ambitious for a new studio but the developer, Experiment 101, is packing some veteran talent with ex-Avalanche Studios devs who worked on games like Just Cause and Mad Max.
When Biomutant was delayed back in 2019 and there were no updates for a while, fans started to assume it was canceled. However, a new gameplay trailer appeared over the summer last year and a new release date was confirmed by THQ Nordic in January.
Biomutant will release on May 25th of 2021 and while we're not sure yet how it will be it’s certainly something worth keeping an eye on.
