I've been keeping my eye on Biomutant since it was announced in 2017. The game seems to pack a lot of punch and I've loved what we've seen so far. Biomutant is an upcoming Post-apocalyptic kung fu open world Action RPG with a big emphasis on offering loads of freedom and customization. The game is full of various Mutant Powers, Bionics and Weapons you can combine to fit whatever your preferred playstyle is. Whether you want to be a Magic slinging psi-freak, a commando jumping straight into the action, or roaming around as a sneaky assassin. You'll be able to mix and match these various elements, to make whatever sort of character you like. More interestingly to me though, is the games rather unique look and style, (especially if you like playing as furry animals). Developer said they took inspiration for the game from things sources like: kung fu panda, ratchet & clank, modern open world games, and a combat system that's heavily inspired by the DMC & Arkham game series. Early footage showed lots of promise. Caught my eye all the way back in 2017.
