Bionic Commando - 1988 - MS-DOS Game Review
This game was released for IBM Personal Computers and compatibles running MS-DOS.
This fun little platformer seems to be a rush job of a port, with the graphics seriously underperforming. The EGA adapter is capable of much more than this, and it seems to be the lowest supported graphics adapter. Sound is quite lacking as well, as the music is terrible and the sound effects also leave a lot to be desired.
Apart from all that, gameplay is also a little clunky, as it is difficult to hit the diagonals with your bionic arm because you have to hit three buttons almost simultaneously.
However, if you first got your PC in the late 1980's, and did not know of any other games of the era, this game could have given you some enjoyment.
