5I am unsure if it is faster to do this OoB to skip entering the door, but it certainly seems so. The devs unfortunately designed this stage as one big continuous screen, so I am able to just drop into the top of the second screen and save a bunch of time from climbing. My movement still isn't great within the level, but I wanted to document the route before I forgot it. It might also be faster to suicide after grabbing the 1up (if the game spawns me at the top of the screen still). Haven't tested yet.
Any% would do the same OoB into the second room but just go straight to the exit afterwards instead of grabbing the 1up. That'd be a real fast stage!
