This is an option you can enable by collecting a hidden item in Area 00. You need to be in cooperative mode (at least for the PC version), because you have to pull 2 ceiling switches simultaneously.

I made this video mostly to show to the GameFAQs community, as I didn't see anything regarding this secret in any guides or cheats/codes section. The only reference I could find was a locked thread in the X360 forums created by ApexMjolnir *cheer*.
