Rearmed really was a watershed moment for downloadable console games. Coming around the same time as Braid, Castle Crashers and Geometry Wars 2, all of these games showed just how much you could achieve without having to supply a disc. Seven years later, it's hard to appreciate just how amazing a new downloadable game of this scale was, but even now this game is a ton of fun. Even the sequel that followed a few years later couldn't quite rekindle the fires that kept Rearmed so enjoyable to play. There's also the fact that the Simon Vikland soundtrack is one of the very best soundtracks I've ever heard which helps make this such a memorable game.
