BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds (PS3) Gamechive (Duke/Dimwit Theater: Blue Ribbon Challenges)
"Clash in the Clouds, Map #2: Duke and Dimwit Theater, All Blue Ribbon Challenges"—Clash in the Clouds was an add-on "horde" mode to BioShock Infinite, which placed the player (Booker DeWitt w/Elizabeth) against waves of Columbian enemies. Maps were accessed inside the Columbian Archaeological Society hub, where a player also buys game lore such as character models, concept art, kinetoscopes, songs, and accesses secret voxophones. Each map (4 in total) contained 15 waves where Silver Eagles, Infusions and pieces of Gear were earned. As per the main game, weapons and Vigors could be upgraded via the Veni! Vidi! Vigor! and Minuteman Armory vending machines. Each wave had a challenge associated with it, which ranged from the simple to the complex, and these "Blue Ribbon Challenges" (60 in total) contained specific wave requirements for completion. This gamechive contains the 2nd set of challenges (16—30), associated with the Duke and Dimwit Theater map.
To prevent maps/challenges from becoming overwhelming, max out all weapons/vigors early. This approach was taken after the completion of the 1st map, The O.P.S. Zeal, and before starting the Duke and Dimwit Theater map. This involves repeatedly replaying The O.P.S. Zeal map to accumulate Silver Eagles, and will payoff for later challenges. It takes $60-70,000 Silver Eagles to purchase all upgrades.*
Blue Ribbon Challenges (Rewards):
16. Defeat all enemies w/Shotgun. (Infusion)
17. Defeat two enemies w/Possessed Patriot. (Drop Cloth Gear = Landing off a Sky-Line increases movement speed. 50% faster for 5 seconds.)
18. Force 3 Firemen to self destruct while airborne from Bucking Bronco/Undertow. (Infusion)
19. Damage 5 enemies w/Vigor traps. (Fleet Feet Gear = When evading, movement speeds are increased. Affects side strafing and backpedaling.)
20. Complete wave under 0:45. (Infusion)
21. Defeat Handyman while he's electrocuting a Sky-line. (Last Man Standing Gear = When very low on health, killing an enemy gives health.)
22. Defeat 5 enemies w/Undertow. (Infusion)
23. Defeat 2 enemies w/Possessed Rocket Turret. (Throttle Control Gear = Increased throttle and braking control on Sky-Lines.)
24. Defeat every enemy w/different weapon or Vigor.* (Infusion)
25. Complete wave using only Charge; Return to Sender; and Shotguns. (Shock Jacket Gear = When struck, 50% chance to shock nearby enemies. Victims take 50 damage, vulnerable for 2 seconds.)
26. Defeat Patriot w/Possessed enemy. (Infusion)
27. Defeat all enemies w/Vigor traps. (Tunnel Vision Gear = Aiming increases damage by 25%. Hip firing reduces damage by 25%.)
28. Defeat 5 enemies w/single Devil's Kiss blast. (Infusion)
29. Defeat Handyman w/Tesla Coil. (Urgent Care Gear = Decrease shield recharge delay by 1 second. Increase shield recharge rate by 2x.)
30. Complete wave under 1:30.
