BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds (PS3) Gamechive (The O.P.S. Zeal Map: Blue Ribbon Challenges)
2"Clash in the Clouds, Map #1: The O.P.S. Zeal, All Blue Ribbon Challenges"—Clash in the Clouds was an add-on "horde" mode to BioShock Infinite, which placed the player (Booker DeWitt with Elizabeth) against waves of Columbian enemies encountered in the main game. Maps were accessed inside the Columbian Archaeological Society hub, where a player could also buy game lore such as character models, concept art, kinetoscopes, songs, and view secret voxophones. Each map (4 in total) contained 15 waves where Silver Eagles, Infusions and pieces of Gear were earned. As per the main game, weapons and Vigors could be upgraded via the Veni! Vidi! Vigor! and Minuteman Armory vending machines. Each wave had a challenge associated with it, which ranged from the simple to the complex, and these "Blue Ribbon Challenges" (60 in total) contained specific wave requirements for completion. This gamechive contains the first set of challenges (1—15), associated with The O.P.S. Zeal map.
Blue Ribbon Challenges (Rewards):
1. Defeat the wave using Sky-line strikes only. (Infusion)
2. Defeat the wave while only taking shield damage. (Ammo Cap Gear = When shooting, empty clips have 40% chance of auto filling without reload.)
3. Defeat the wave using only the Sky-hook attacks and Shotgun. (Infusion)
4. Defeat the wave using only Machine Guns or the Crank Gun [Get from Patriot]. (Sky-line Accuracy Gear = Increases weapon accuracy on Sky-Lines.)
5. Defeat the wave using only the Pistol and Hand Cannon. (Infusion)
6. Defeat the wave without picking up weapons or looting corpses.* (Vampire's Embrace Gear = Melee kills give health.)
7. Defeat all enemies using only zoomable weapons while they are zoomed. (Infusion)
8. Defeat all enemies using only Tears; Possession Traps; and Return to Sender traps. (Health for Salts Gear = When out of Salts, you will use health to cast Vigors.)
9. Defeat all enemies without ever hitting anyone in the head or the heart. (Infusion)
10. Defeat the Siren before she performs a resurrection. (Burning Halo Gear = 70% chance that a melee target is set ablaze. Victim takes 300 damage over 4 seconds.)
11. Defeat the wave without using Sky-lines or Hook-points. (Infusion)
12. Defeat the wave within 1:15. (Blood to Salt Gear = Enemies provide Salts upon death 40% of the time.)
13. Defeat the wave using only weapons fired from a Sky-line or Sky-line strikes. (Infusion)
14. Defeat the wave using only Shock Jockey and Headshots. (Death from Above Gear = Increase weapon damage by 30% on Sky-Lines.)
15. Defeat each enemy with a different Vigor type.
* The "Missile Defense System" (Killed an enemy with splash damage by shooting a rocket out of the air.) and "Rope a Dope" (Knocked an enemy off the city with Undertow, then rescued him, then knocked him off again.) achievements/trophies were received during this wave. As well, the "Friendly Skies" achievement/trophy is received for completing all waves in The O.P.S. Zeal map.
