BioShock Infinite (PS3) Gamechive (1999 Mode, Part 2/13: Chapter 4)
"1999 Mode, Part 2/13: Chapters 4"—This is the highest difficulty under which the game can be played. The mode is hidden by default, but appears as an option either once a player finishes the game or enters the infamous Konami Code at any point in the game (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, o, x, start). This gamechive—and the ones that preceded and follow—showcase an entire playthrough under this increased difficulty. Chapter 4: Comstock Center Rooftops
- Kinetoscope (5/37): A Look Back at Opening Day (Against the left wall before the bar room.)
- Kinetoscope (6/37): The Prophet Stands Up to Foes: Within and Without! (Same location as previous.)
- Kinetoscope (7/37): We Secede from the So-Called Union (Same location as previous.)
- Infusion (1/30) = Adds a magnetic-repulsive field to improve defense. This shield protects you from harm until depleted. Avoid damage and it will recharge.
- Infusion (2–4/30) (x3), on bar counter (available only if purchased season pass)
- Infusion (5–6/30) (x2), on table (available only if purchased season pass)
Gears (1–10/51) = Gears are randomly generated. Those found on the tables during this playthrough were:
- Eagle Strike (boots) = Increase weapon damage by 50% on Sky-Lines.
- Electric Punch (hat) = 70% change that a melee target is stunned. Victim is vulnerable for 4 seconds.
- Ghost Soldier (pants) = Killing with a Vigor trap has a 70% chance to cause the enemy gun to become a ghostly ally for a few seconds.
- Ammo Advantage (shirt) = Increases clip size for all weapons by 75%.
- Betrayer (boots) = Killing a Possessed human causes them to explode. Nearby enemies take 360 damage over 5 seconds.
- Bull Rush (pants) = Melee targets are knocked back.
- Extra! Extra! (hat) = When found, Voxophones provide Silver Eagles.
- Handyman Nemesis (boots) = Increases damage against Handymen by 50%.
- Sugar Rush (shirt) = After eating a snack, move 50% faster for 3 seconds.
- Fleet Feet (boots) = When evading, movement speeds are increased. Affects side strafing and backpedaling.
- Kinetoscope (8/37): Dangers On All Sides! (Outside the Montgomery Residence in the back behind a tent.)
- Voxophone (8/80): A New Hunt (On the Preston Downs Stage, underneath the stuffed grizzly bear.)
- Voxophone (9/80): The Gift of the Emancipator (On bar counter.)
- Voxophone (10/80): The Life of the Emancipator (On a pew in the room with the stage and key/infusion.)
- Infusion (7/30), found on stage.
- Infusion (8/30), found inside chest (key found on stage inside the Fraternal Order of the Ravens)
- Voxophone (11/80): Symbols of Our Lady (On a desk in one of the office's rooms.)
