Bit vLog #44 - Assembly Summer "No Girls Allowed" Debacle
23I'm not really a huge advocate for equality in gaming. Not that I think things are currently equal, more that there are people out there who can discuss gender issues in the gaming industry far more eloquently than I can.
However, I like my esports. I like my MOBAs and whilst these often have toxic communities that can behave sexist and misogynistic, it is NOT okay for this to spill over into the esports tournament scene. And when that does happen as it did in Finland's Assembly Summer 2014 tournaments, sometimes you just have to say something. So I did.
