BitPainting - New Art Collection Platform on the Ethereum Blockchain? | Crypto DApps
2Today I took a first look at another decentralized app on the blockchain to collect popular artwork digitally. Bitpainting looks quite similar to three other similar projects that I did a video on called cryptomasterpieces, cryptoarts and bitgallery (last one has been abandoned). You can essentially collect and trade digital art for ethereum:

As you can see from the URL this is still in early access but the website looks pretty much finished.
I am not sure if it works similar to the other cryptocurrency games above which were all essentially hot potatoe games.
If that is the case none of art will ever really be yours because someone else can always outbid you and force buyouts the painting from you. Maybe somebody can clarify if Bitpainting works differently?
Generally an interesting concept but I am not sure how well it translates on the blockchain in the long run. The other projects didn't work too well. Still if you believe in the idea I guess you could give it a try.
But always remember to only invest as much as you can afford to lose and do your due diligence first.
