Black Myth- Wukong - Official In-game Cutscene
0Black Myth: Wukong is an action role-playing game being developed by Game Science , based on the classic 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West .
The gameplay has been described as similar to Souls . The player controls Sun Wukong (aka the Monkey King) with abilities to transform into flying insects or a giant monster, to fight a variety of enemies. The game was the first to use Unreal Engine 5 , the most advanced game engine in 3D computer graphics .
On August 20, 2020, the developer posted a 13-minute video showing pre-alpha gameplay of the game. In one day, the video had almost 2 million views on YouTube and 10 million views on bilibili.
In a 2020 interview with IGN China, Game Studio said it plans to release Black Myth: Wukong in 2023. The developer plans to release the game for PC , as well as Sony 's PS5 and Xbox Series X , from Microsoft .
