BLACK on PC @ true 60fps! 16:9 1440p [Naszran Foundry] PCSX2 PS2 (EA, 2006)
View video in HD 1440p/ 60 fps for best quality. Realtime gameplay of the PS2 version of BLACK running at true 60 fps on the PCSX2 emulator for Windows PC. Credit to asaega for the 60fps patch. Some slowdown when recording in HD but otherwise it runs well. Still one of the best single player FPS games ever made (imo) and now it's almost like having a PC port with asaega's 60fps patch and since the PCSX2 emu has progressed so well.
This game needs a very fast CPU to run true 60fps smoothly on PCSX2, meaning a cpu with very high 'single thread performance'. For reference, my cpu at 4.5ghz has a 2700+ single thread score in the passmark9 cpu test.
There are still some flaws in HW mode using a higher rez (like white outlines) but you can fix this with Agressive CRC however that will also eliminate some post-processing effects. Or you can use half pixel or sprite hacks to clean it up a little.

tip: Start each level in Software mode to have the correct sky texture. You can change back to hardware mode after the level is loaded.
tip2: use autoflush hack to align some lighting errors. I had to leave it disabled since at 4X resolution, the framerate takes a big hit. But if you have a really good GPU, it may not bother your fps. Could also try TC offset.
tip 3: sometimes you can get stuck and can't move(glitch). Create some savestates every once in a while just in case it happens so you don't have to restart the entire level.
