Blades of Vengeance! Sega Mega Drive. Retro Review Series! #Barbarians
14Guys, I KNOW WHO YOU'RE GOING TO CHOOSE!!! Go for the Sorcerer... he's way easier to use, takes more attacks to take out enemies, but you'll be able to make distance attacks with him. The warrior-esse (Hunter) is a good mid-range, quick attack character, and the Arnold clone is a typical strength, slow attack. But in this game you don't necessarily need that... you need to be limber, and the old Magician can jump!
Actually enjoyed this game!! It's very challenging, very unforgiving... but very much in the same vein as Barbarian, or Conan; two games I've played on this channel.
Apologies for the slow-down. I was exporting another video and it caused some lag! Also, I actually couldn't find any good images of the Hunter, so I illustrated this one. And YES... I need to get back into the habit of drawing more... it's amazing how much you lose when you don't practice often.
A little bit more about the game... Blades of Vengeance is a platform game that was developed by Beam Software and published by Electronic Arts for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. In this game, one or two players can select one of three fantasy warriors to fight through a large range of platform levels in order to defeat the forces of darkness.
