After renaming the Blasphemer 0.1.8 file to Heretic.wad, I was ready to play this. Or was I?
This source port (HHeretic) has quite some issues. The controls can't be reconfigured unlike with the Chocolate Doom source port included in the custom firmware. The L button is already configured to toggle the map, and there's no way to change this. I don't care too much about the map, I want to strafe to the left with the L button!
There's also no way to change the weapons, so I'm stuck with the wand until I run out of ammo. I don't even know how am I supposed to look up and down, not like I needed to since I still have the autoaim.
I tried configuring the CFG file using the doom CFG file's values, but alas, it didn't worked. At least setting the joy_bspeed value to 29 still activates the autorun...
I can overlook the fact that this has no music, as Heretic has the same issue.
But overall, it's a shame that this source port has these problems, since the game runs so smoothly.
