Time to blaspheme yet again.

I decided to add the Eviterno fight too because it's much cooler than the final boss.

*Ending Requirements:*

First you must get the following Altarpiece figures: Cierzo, Jaloque, Lebeche and Gregal. Then, place them in your Altarpiece in a way they are all in the middle and facing the center (they turn gold when in the right spot), and go to the top of the Chapel of the Five Doves, unlocking the door to the right. Pick the Incense of the Envoys, then after beating Eviterno, you'll see a prompt to use the incense before climbing to the final battle; do so. You can also get Ending B by refusing to give the incense.

*Eviterno Strategy:*

Eviterno has 2 stages to the fight. First he'll do his best Dracula impression and teleport around throwing spells. Most of them have easy cues - if he flies up, it'll be the huge fireball that causes explosions, if he stick to the corner, it'll be either 3 fast moving lightning walls or a barrage of energy balls, and lastly he can teleport around and throw some energy balls. When he shoots the barrage, you can hit the green ball to reflect it back to him to hurt him, but it won't work if you are too faraway.

The second phase is probably the hardest boss in the game. Most of Eviterno's attacks are heavily telegraphed, but he's super fast and you need to predict them a little, instead of reacting on the fly. On the ground, he can dash towards you with a huge upward slash, then either teleport behind you or stay in front for a quick slash, and after that a huge upwards backswing that launches waves to both sides a medium distance on the ground. If he's far away he can do a jump slash which causes pillars of fire to shoot all the way to the end of the screen, or shoot these slow moving electric slashes. After you do a certain amount of damage, he can fly in the air and do a massive screen covering slash that deals a lot of damage, or he can change his lunging slash to a combo that does an aerial attack and finishes on a backward swing.

After you do enough damage to him, he'll do this attack that darkens the screen and all of the previous penitent bosses will do their moves once. It's always the same sequence. Then finishes up in that huge slash again.

Defense against Eviterno in the first phase is all magic of all elements, but it's easy enough to avoid his attacks that you shouldn't bother too much - the hardest attack to dodge are the lightning bolts, the timing is super strict. Second phase is mostly physical, with the fire pillars being well, fire, and the lightning slashes being, well, lightning. Gear your beads for fire defense and mainly physical. His quick teleporting slash can be parried - it's a good way to deal some damage. The huge slash is easier to dodge on the ground, so don't jump if he seems to disappear, and duck if you are close to the edges of the slash. Don't go in to attack, let him come to you and act accordingly.

(You can and should rest on the Prie Dieu after Eviterno, your game doesn't save after the final boss and you get goodies after the fight, but I decided to do everything in one go).

*Incarnate Devotion Strategy:*

The big boy is next, and he's honestly fairly easy. Hit the big heart to hurt him. Nearly all of his attacks do fire damage so fire resistance will make you really hard to kill. The only hard hitting attack that's also difficult to dodge is the barrage of meteors coming straight from the sky. The explosions they do on the ground also hurt, so you need to pay attention to the pattern and jump when they make contact. When he summons the platforms, he can also spawn those flowers and the heart will be invincible - destroy them quickly or they'll keep respawning. Keep at it and you'll win!

*My Setup:*

Sarmiento & Centella is imo the best weapon to do a lot of damage quickly and keep you agile, which you'll need against Eviterno's second phase. It's easy to built up your Altarpieces to boost your swords' and lightning + elemental damage through the combos, and Partisan will make parrying way easier. Pilgrim helps you keep Verdadera Destreza charges if you get hit. Nacimiento + Pilgrim will make you ZA WARUDO time stop after drinking from a flask, which is great. It doesn't freeze attacks that are already happening, though.
