Blaster Master Zero 2 has an interesting way of handling the 'metroidvania' style. Instead of having to backtrack entire levels, it seems like we can just 'fly' in between levels which actually saves a lot of time. This does feel like a real continuation of BMZ and even though some may argue that it isn't 'different enough' I know I'm enjoying it.
