Blazeborn: Blaze Rods (WIP)
591A short demo/sneak peek of the new mechanics I added to one of the default Origins: Blazeborn.
(Currently work in progress. Behavior & mechanics may be different from the final downloadable file.)
Mastery Over Flames:
"Using a shield applies PYRE* to yourself & summons four Blaze Rods that circle you. Anything that comes in contact with them will be damaged and affected by Molten*. Attack (left click) while shielded consumes a rod and fires a fireball."
(*I'll be explaining more about what PYRE and Molten do in the future, but in short: PYRE is one of the six elements I created, and Molten is the resulting elemental reaction by combining the elements PYRE and TERRA. Molten applies slowness II & +0.5 knockback resistance for 5s. Hitting a Molten target sets the attacker on fire.)
