Blender Animation - "Tempus Fugit" Timebender Pistol
9My first Blender project I've put real time and effort into. Based on a wacky little doodle I did, this silly gun took an unholy amount of time to make but I learned a ton about 3d modelling in the process. Textured in Substance Painter.
Everyone knows there are two things you start learning 3d modelling with: Either it's a gun or a car. You're not allowed to do any more 3d art unless you do one of those two things, as written in the Law. I figured that if I was gonna do a weapon it might as well be a little bit weird and entirely impractical and I think I did pretty good on that end.
Don't get me wrong, though. There's a ton of mistakes and I was lazy with the camera/particle stuff but I really didn't want to burn out on this project. It was a ton of fun though and really satisfying to see everything come together in the end. I know this is different from the stuff I usually upload but hell, if you've been around for a while you know consistency isn't a strong trait of mine.
Music is the ever-classy "Happy-Go-Lively" and a bunch of the sounds I didn't make were taken from Fesylian Studios - they have a ton of license free sounds, go check 'em out. The decorative brushes on the wood came from various Artstation artists.

The "Tempus Fugit" automatically exhausts magical buildup from inside the gun in doses that have been proven to be only semi-lethal if inhaled!
Paying for magical reserves to power your weapon is a thing of the past with the "Tempus Fugit's" unique, eventually patented reloading mechanism. Remove the chronometer and rewind your shots back into the mana-tank provided! (Please note using this mechanism will undo any shots you may have taken. Albricht and (Future) Sons are not responsible for any injury as a result of targets you may accidentally bring back to life.)
With easy-to-read ammunition indicators and a one-of-a-kind alarm system when your reserves are depleted, you need never be caught out in a firefight again! Reloading takes mere minutes before you're back in the fight once more!
