Blind Drakengard 2! Playthrough 3: EXTREME P15 (2/2) Final.
4Well. This is it. The end of the playthrough for Drakengard 2. We did it. Beat it on Extreme mode.
As you might be able to tell, I don't think that this ending was worth the 3 playthroughs. Re-used footage for the ending cutscene with a couple small extra bits?. The gods disappearing for no particular reason, dragons just saying whatever and all disappearing? Nowe getting a happy ending? Eh... I guess I dislike him as a character so much that I was really hoping the nameless gods would rid us of him, or Eris would kill him off in a fit of revenge for decimating the only organization that ever gave her anything. Well, oh well, I did have fun playing the game, the ground combat was a step up from the previous game, the aerial combat was a step back I think (especially when you control super Nowe).
Don't get me wrong, I like the series, but even without playing the third game yet (that will come) I know that this is the weakest of the series and it not being directed by Yoko Taro shows. I think my favorite ending was ending B since we got to fight a giant floating Manah and flying off to fight the gods with the dragons would make for a cool game. If I was telling someone about the drakengard series, I'd say to maybe get the first ending, and if they liked the game a lot then go for the second. But I'd hesitate to tell anyone that they MUST see the third.
