First of all: sorry for not uploading videos in literally forever. I won't promise that I'm suddenly going to turn into a consistent uploader due to being busy with work and otherwise, but I want to at least try to do something occasionally as a hobby when I can.

A playthrough of Bloodborne using primarily arcane. Arcane scales well past 50 all the way up to 99 with the hunter tools in this game, and it's fun to use and very powerful once you get there.

Specifically, conversion weapons (fire/bolt/arcane damage) can be very powerful and finding what weaknesses to exploit on enemies can be nice. Generally, very few things in the game are not weak to either fire or bolt, and for a lot of enemies they have lower elemental defences than physical defences. While weapon scaling hits a cap at 50, the hunter tools are very powerful and scale well all the way up to 99, where the damage ones will be ridiculous boss killers. The other utility tools can also be very helpful. A couple other neat things about arcane is that discovery is affected by it, which is nice because to get the full benefit out of arcane, you will likely have to do the chalice dungeons for gem drops, and you get a couple of neat things like arcane-scaling molotovs and the Flamesprayer if you struggle near the beginning before you get an early fire weapon. The thing I'm not sure about is what other weapons I'm going to use - let me know if there's a preference for bolt/arcane weapons, because the fire Saw Spear is just too good.

There are some disadvantages - you will likely not have many base stats for strength/skill, and so will likely need to use a small variety of weapons. Vitality will also likely be lower than it would be on other physical or hybrid builds. Visceral attacks will generally be poor because physical damage gems are the only ones that will affect the damage, along with skill. And lastly, quicksilver bullet usage is quite high due to the hunter tools and having to spam blood bullets may put you in danger.
