Boss is pretty easy until he starts spamming that 360 degrees dark flame attack. I managed to dodge it once at 04:42, in case people want to know how it can be done. Yeah, yeah, I admittedly cheesed the battle with consumables but eh, I'd been stuck on this guy for an hour so...

I was only 80% through the game at this point, Now that I've beaten the game and gotten more shards, I think the Accelerate shard could help dodge the attack if you can use it to get behind the boss quickly. Haven't tried to see if his hitbox would collide with ours in that little spot behind him though.

In case you wanna know my build, I used:
Tiz Rozain directional with INT augment.
Kitsune mask
Shinobi garb
Gauge glasses (kinda useless, but it tells you how much hp the boss has left)
Warlock's necklace
Flame scarf
Tomes: INT, MND, Directional
