Yes, this was on purpose. Yes, this was planned from the beginning. Well, when I decided to do a skit based on Blooper from Super Mario, anyway. See, the 'per' part of his name was an obvious 'pur' cat sound, and there's that stupid Sad Cat Dance meme thing going around. Or it was, and I'm just now getting around to making fun of it. Had to make the Blooper cartoon first to introduce the character and, thus, the concept for the joke! And I had to wait until I had a minute to do both. Which is fun, since the cat ears kind of make it like a Halloween costume. So this counts as the Halloween episode of Bloop Diet! So yeah. Just don't throw up, Bloop! YOU MUST DIGEST!
