The Blue Archive anime is out and I've been waiting for this. It's good, I liked it. A bit slow, but the love is there. What excites me about the Blue Archive anime extends beyond the scope of this first season, but the future in seeing the world, characters, and story I've come to love in full motion. I ramble about all that for 12 minutes, isn't it great?

These videos (this one and other episodes of the anime) are not a complete catalogue of my thoughts per episode as much as I try to make them as such. Discussion is very much encouraged either in the comments or the Discord.

Hey, I'm down here typing a personal addendum. Before I just crammed it all into the top of the description but I'm being a bit more considerate. New year, new me, amiright? I like to use the description to express my thoughts on my process and workflow since I don't really have anywhere else to dump this stuff. You don't have to read this if you don't want to; it's more for me than anyone else, really.

I browse Twitter and sometimes see long threads about media and think "at what point should this just be a blog post or YouTube video?" Only with the Blue Archive anime airing did I finally apply that logic to myself so... uh... I'm back, I guess. Definitely not my strongest work but I needed to push myself back into the groove and get the video out before the next episode airs, which is most likely gonna be how this weekly cycle goes. I'll stick to it, promise! As my first video back, it's really, really rough around the edges since I'm trying to , but getting back into the groove and locking into the editing process will hopefully help me smooth out the edges and deliver a bit more consistent work for this and future projects. Seeing as I mostly laid out my all expectations for the future of the anime in this one video, I imagine the cycle is going to be easier as I focus more solely on the episodes themselves, but we'll see.

Though I'll be doing this weekly (and hopefully put out the videos earlier after airing), this isn't the best place to fully utilize the skills I've been grinding for the past year and half of inactivity, which is by design since these are supposed to be lower-effort rambles. However, I've been cooking up ideas for more refined, grand videos but haven't gotten around to getting much work done for them. A big reason why I returned with anything in the first place was to maybe, just maybe, get the ball rolling to where I can get consistent video work done again. I'd love to share my ideas and thoughts on more things with you all after so long.
