Blue Suns MUGEN Tournament IV Registration (Sign-ups OPEN)
26Hello everyone, and welcome to the registration video for the Blue Suns MUGEN Tournament IV!
After two years since the Scarlet Weather MUGEN Tournament (the last tournament we held here and our final 2v2 simul tournament), it's finally time to get into another tournament. Like the past Blue Suns MUGEN Tournaments, this will be a 4v4 turns tournament. As most fighters are made with 1v1 in mind these days, we feel that sticking with a turns tournament should be for the best.

While free reign is allowed with your character selection this time, they can't be stronger OR win 3 times against ZET's Shana, which is the gatekeeper for this tournament. This is the first time we're using a gatekeeper, so keep this in mind when choosing your teams as that's as high as you can go. Each of your characters MUST be different. It cannot be the same character 2-4 times. A team of Super Mario, Super Better Mario, Reloaded Mario, and KOF Mario is fine though. Basically, you can have the same character more than once as long as they're both different in some way. If a team has a particular fighter already, you cannot use them. But it's just for that version.
We'll be in 1.0 as usual despite how some 1.1 characters need to be unconverted for 1.0 just to use their AI Patches. Speaking of which, we intend to max out all AI Patches for this. We do ask that you credit who made each character, including any edits and who made the AI Patch so we know what version you're using. (Not mentioned in the video, but for example, some Guilty Gear characters have multiple modes and the AI Patch is for each of them, so please be specific in which one you want to use. You can only use one though, so choose wisely.) Cheap palettes, like Stone Mario or Ghost Mario, will not be allowed for this.
Boss fighters may only be limited to fighting games and beat'em-ups. Cuphead bosses and others with permanent super armor (there could be exceptions) might not be allowed. One per team is considered, but the Rating Test may beg to differ. Also, any "gimmick" fighters like DiveKick KFM or Bokosuka Wars will not be allowed. Most of all, NO 18+ CHARACTERS. They will be rejected IMMEDIATELY.
If there's a character on your team that is not allowed, we'll inform you and you'll have to change characters.
The Blue Suns will join this tournament, but our team won't surprising to some of you (it was tested BTW).
You cannot request stages or assume you'll win all your matches. As the hosts, we generally decide the stages. And we have a plan for them as usual.
There will be 64 slots. With the Blue Suns taking part, that leaves 63 left.
Anyone who comes into the server just to cause trouble, you'll be banned and DQ'd instantly. We don't want a repeat of what happened last time, but we're better prepared for that now.
Take time to go over the rules before making your selection. Choose wisely as once you settled on a team, you'll have to stick with it.
