Trainee has 60 days to successfully (Q or Q- rating) evaluation sorties, granted Basic Mission Ready (BMR) pilot rating.


AIRCRAFT FAMILIARIZATION CHECK RIDE I

Purpose:
1. Demonstrate how to start up the aircraft.
2. Demonstrate how to utilize checklist procedures for pre-flight; engine start etc.
3. Demonstrate taxing the aircraft safely (20kts)
4. Take off and climb to pattern altitude (1000ft AGL unless otherwise directed by ATC). Ensure safe separation.
5. Demonstrate 3 successful patterns and perform 2 touch and goes and 1 full stop landing
on the duty runway using proper ATC calls.
6. Taxi to parking for shutdown and secure aircraft procedures.
Student should strive to land on the numbers and on AOA (on bracket in the F-16).

*BMS 3000 AGL, Left Handed Pattern , Follow ATC instructions precisely (Note: For DCS, 1700 MSL, Runway 13 , Batumi)

*Headings: Upwind, Crosswind, Downwind, Base & Final Approach

*Use 30 degrees in bank in the pattern!

*1 NM from RNWY at ABEAM position


Notes
1.) As soon as you touch down, go to MIL power and retract the speed brakes.

2.) Be in control of the airplane, you HAVE to manhandle it. If its getting slow
be aggressive on throttle. If everything is stable, milk the throttle smoothly.
