Alpina B6, Alman otomobil üreticisi Alpina tarafından üretilen yüksek performanslı grand touring modelinin üçüncü neslidir . 2011 Tokyo Otomobil Fuarı'nda tanıtılan B6, BMW 6 Serisini temel alıyordu ve coupé ve dönüştürülebilir gövde stillerinde mevcuttu ; ikincisi 2011 Frankfurt Otomobil Fuarı'nda tanıtıldı .Gran coupé adı verilen üçüncü bir sedan gövde stili 2014 yılında tanıtıldı. Alpina B6 gran coupé'nin yerini 2021'de Alpina B8 gran coupe (G16) aldı.

Aracın GT3 teki geçmişi ise,

Alpina B6 GT3, Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen tarafından yönetilen GT3 grubuna ait bir gran turismo yarış otomobilidir .
Araç özellikle ADAC GT Masters'da başarılı oldu . Alpina B6 GT3, 2009'dan 2012'ye kadar bu yarış serisinde toplam on iki yarış kazandı. Alexandros Margaritis ve Dino Lunardi, 2011 yılında Alpina B6 GT3 ile ADAC GT Masters'da sürücüler şampiyonluğunu kazandı.
