I first learned of this hidden mode from a prerelease build of Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2, which could activate unlockable modes through its debug menu. Mode 2 adds First Person to the camera options. While this Special Modes feature didn't make it into the final release, it would make it into this game, carrying over most of the planned modes and some new ones, but didn't bring over First Person camera mode. Despite this, the mode sits unused in the final releases of both Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 and this game.

While all methods of adding it to the camera menu have been fully stripped out, I made an Action Replay code to allow you to toggle between it and the other modes. Even the camera options menu displays the proper name. It's almost certainly possible to make a similar code for Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2, which I'll work on now that I know roughly what I'm doing.

After it's enabled, head to the Options menu. Once you're there, hold L and press X. This will put you into First Person camera mode, but will prevent you from using any other camera modes. When you want to stop using First Person, go back to the Options menu, then hold R and press X.

I don't have a way of testing on real hardware, only Dolphin. With the testing I did, I can confirm it works as every character on every level, and that in-level cutscenes don't cause any issues, but that's the extent of my testing. I'm not that great at the game so maybe some part of some objective will have issues, but that shouldn't happen.
