Boats and Buses | The M4J Network | OpenTTD | #84
3Greater Gardcity has terrible transport connections. Some communities are cut off completely, whereas others have minimum services. Rail has somewhat fixed the issue, but not every street can have a station. Even the Gardcity Underground isn't a suitable fix, we need a better idea. What, what's that rubber-tyred tram-looking thing? A... bus? Yeah, I'll have some of those please!
This week I'll add two more boat routes that circle Gard Lake, before moving on to the real crux of today, buses! Every major station in Gardcity has route allocations for buses and trams. The goal for today is to have at least one bus route operating from the north and eastern stations, with a small trickle down to Gardcity St Thomas at the end.
The bus infrastructure of the city will be huge once complete, with 100% coverage planned for the entire Greater Gardcity region. Suffice to say the roads will soon be full of buses, trams and trucks. Short routes are the focus at the moment, but eventually we'll have routes of all distances criss-crossing all over the streets.
